Cloth boards, Octavo. Illustrated throughout. Pasted in address labels from a former owner indicating that this was property of a Roswell resident. One inside the front cover and one in the back. Both are partially removed.
The book whose narrative has come to be known as "version 1" of the Roswell legend, dominant until the late 1980s when other authors, attracted by the commercial potential of writing about alien crash sites, started producing rival accounts of the event. The Roswell Incident started the government cover up narrative and introduced the controversial second-hand stories of civil engineer Grady "Barney" Barnett and a group of archaeology students from an encountering wreckage and "alien bodies" while before being escorted away by the Army.
