The Prime Press was founded by members of the Philadelphia Science Fiction Society and was intended to feature writers from the Philadelphia area starting with Phillips, a Philly native. This is the first of only eighteen books published during the Prime Press’s short four-year span, making it quite possible to collect the entire output of this press. 
During a night on the town, the hapless Henry Pickett unwittingly steals a magical charm belonging to gnomes and goes on a humorous drunken spree involving angry monkeys, invisibility, romance and lots of booze. This story first appeared in the pulp magazine Unknown in 1941. 

Good. Transfer staining to the first and last free endpaper. Black covers have tape stains on bottom and top edges. / Jacket is in good/fair unclipped condition with some darkening, light soiling and curling to the top edges. Abrasion losses to the flaps and bottom right corner. Presented in a mylar cover. Item #69
