Octavo. 56 pp. Publisher's oatmeal cloth-backed orange paper-covered boards, with Gorey cat illustration in gilt on the front board and spine titles in gilt. Illustrated orange dust jacket with even more cats by Gorey. A "Mystery!" bookplate signed by Gorey is pasted onto the first free end paper. Published in the same year as the musical adaptation by Andrew Lloyd Webber of Eliot's work debuted on Broadway. Binding extremely tight and square. May never have been read. Pages clean / Sun fading to the front back and spine. 3/4 inch chip still attached at back lower right near spine. Presented in a clear protective mylar cover. Item #647
