Malta and Its Recently Discovered Prehistoric Temples, William Arthur Griffiths.
A report on Malta that illustrates the inhabitants of an archipelago of three islands in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. Special focus on the prehistoric underground temple in which an enormous number of human remains were found. In the temple, known as the Hal Saflieni Hypogeum, Maltese archaeologist Sir Themistocles Zammit discovered thousands of skeletal remains, some of them with elongated skulls dating back to 3000-2500 BC. A favorite topic with the Ancient Aliens enthusiasts. Also some nice full color images of mushrooms.   Good, soiling and shelf wear to the cover. The pages are clean and the binding sound. Item #504
