Skyways & Landmarks Revisited. A Re-evaluation of Tony Wedd's Work on Leys and Flying Saucers

Hull: Northern Earth Mysteries Group and Surrey Earth Mysteries Group, 1985. Presumed first edition. Softcover wraps, staple. 44 pp.

Illustrated cover. In the 1960’s Tony Wedd revived Alfred Watkins ley lines theory with a twist. Wedd believed that that leys were established by prehistoric communities to guide alien spacecraft and was the first to suggest a link between UFOs and the straight tracks. Heselton, Goddard and Baines as members of The British countercultural earth mysteries movement in the 60’s and devotees of Wedd have republished ‘Skyways’ with the complete original text from 1961 and added previously unpublished material with additional historical perspective and a computer analysis. Also, research on ‘tree clumps’, speculation on sound to earth energies which flow along the alignments and could be used by extraterrestrials and essential oils. Extremely scarce.
