London, England: 1909; 1911. Illustrated paper wraps, stapled. A Magic Periodical by P. T. Selbit from London that ran from September 1905 until August 1910. When Selbit's professional career became time consuming, he handed the magazine over to George Munro who renamed it The Magic Wand.
The Magic Wand was a British Magic Periodical that ran for 47 years from Vol. 1, No. 1 (September 1910) to Vol. 46, No. 256 (December 1957). It was equivalent to the US published Sphinx in terms of influence, longevity and time-frame.
Magic tricks presented; Tricks of the trade; lists of new books, advertising. Good, all pages present and staples firmly in place. Some discoloration to the pages, rust stains on the metal staples and the cover on 'Magic Wand' is slightly askew. No loose pages. Item #474
